●What is PLAYFUL Lab.?

PLAYFUL Lab. is a playful project for everyone, themed around "bringing a playful spirit into everyday life."

'PLAYFUL Lab.', which started at S BRICK in the spring of 2023, is based on the Reggio Emilia approach from Italy. With materials and recycled materials provided by companies on Awaji Island, it has become a place where children can freely create things, and has been used by 2,678 people (cumulative total as of December). It has been used in activities at nurseries, elementary schools, and after-school programs, and we feel it has great potential for the future that will be created.

As we enter 2024, we will be revamping 'PLAYFUL Lab.' into a project that will not only utilize the island's material and waste resources, but also its abundant natural resources and human resources that can cater to a variety of interests. The Playful Party, which will be held on Saturday, February 10th, is the first project of this new initiative!

● Playful Party

The party will feature a children's play area (free crafting using recycled materials), along with a variety of other activities to stimulate their playful spirit, including food and drink, art, international exchange, music, workshops, and a social welfare consultation corner.
This event is enjoyable for everyone, regardless of nationality, disability, age, gender, or gender! Exciting new discoveries and diverse encounters await you!
